'Your Panties Look Good On The Dance Floor'this is the name of the tour that will take the Zebrahead around Europe in 2010, also stopping in our country with a date. Sunday 18 April will play at the Bloom di Mezzago (MI)preceded by special guests whose names will soon be revealed.
Born in 1996 in Orange County, California's Sun, the Zebrahead debuted two years later with 'Waste Of Mind'driven by the hit 'Get Back' which made them one of the most prominent names in the American alternative scene. Blatant success, however, came with Playmate Of The Year (2000), whose single of the same name invaded radio and TV stations on various continents and allowed the group to perform alongside Offspring, Less Than Jack, Reel Big Fish and Fuel. In Japan, they are idols, often appearing in the soundtracks of famous video games and holding long sold-out tours. Subsequent albums have also confirmed this trend, and it is no coincidence that their new work 'Panty Raid' has already been released in the Land of the Rising Sun, while the rest of the world will see the release of the8 December. The album consists of 15 covers of famous songs by female singers and groups, including Shakira, Spice Girls, Cindy Lauper and Britney Spears. As the first single they chose 'Girlfriend' by Avril Lavigne, of which they also made a parody video.
Matty Lewis (voice), Greg Berdorf (guitar), rapper Ali Tabatabaee (voice), Ed Udhus (drums) and Ben Osmundson (bass) are ready for the tour that will take them first to Japan and then all over Europe. The Milan date will be opened by some special guests, who will be announced shortly.
