03/09/08: TIROMANCINO TOUR UPDATE

The road of Tiromancino passes through Milan, where the band is expected Thursday 4 Septemberfor a concert in theBresso Flying Concert Area. The Milan date is also the last in Lombardy for the band during this "The Sound of Kilometres Tour which continues into September: travelling, travelling distances and concerts have always been key elements for Tiromancino, first with the release of 'The Sound of Kilometres', a live album containing the two hit unreleased 'the Heartbreaker' (song presented at Sanremo 2008) and "Almost 40"then with the announcement of the new summer concerts, which started on 24 June in Foligno and continued successfully throughout the summer throughout Italy. Tiromancino's live dimension is one of their strong points, as is evident from their recent album. One of their concerts means two hours of great songs, many of which have rightfully entered the history of Italian music, imposing Federico Zampaglione as one of the greatest songwriters in our country. Tiromancino's list of successes is now long: between 'La Descrizione di un attimo', which brought them out of the underground in 2000, and the latest 'Quasi 40', they have pulled songs such as 'Per me è importante', 'Due destini', 'Imparare dal vento', 'Amore impossibile', 'Angoli di Cielo' and 'Un altro mare' out of their hat. Tiromancino live appear with a line-up with a strong rock flavour, consisting of Federico Zampaglione (vocals and guitar), on stage Alessandro Canini (drums), Francesco Zampaglione (guitar), Andrea Pesce (keyboards) Andrea 'Mughen' Moscianese (bass), Daniele 'Mr Coffee' Rossi (sampler). Updates on the dates during the programming of RDS, official mediapartner, and on the website of Barley Arts, producer of the tour. The concert on 4 September, initially planned with admission fee, will instead be free, on the day on which Bresso commemorates Barbara, the young victim of a car accident on 24 August caused by a drunk driver. A small due gesture, not only for the organisers, but also for Tiromancino, who a year ago with the song L'Autostrada (The Highway) were testimonials of the publicity campaign made by the Ministry of Health to make citizens aware of responsible driving.
Meanwhile, three more dates have been added to the 'Sound of Kilometres Tour': TIROMANCINO will be the11 and 12 September in Palermo and 13 September in Catania
