08/01/10: BOYCE AVENUE IN MILAN ON 11 MARCH AT THE TUNNEL

They hail from Florida and have established themselves in their home country as one of the most interesting realities of the new rock scene, with roots in the acoustic sound. I Boyce Avenue will play at the TUNNELin Milan on 11 March 2010for what will be the only date in the Bel Paese.

I Boyce Avenue were born in 2000 in a school in Florida, when the Manzano brothersor Alejandro (vocals, guitar and piano), Fabian (guitar) and Daniel (bass and percussion) decided to perform in front of over 350 people. It is 2000 and it takes six years for the three to record their first singles and participate in various competitions in which they are finalists. 2008 is the year of their official debut in the United States, with the recording of 'All You're Meant To Be', an album on which Rodney Mills, already with Pearl Jam, REM and Sheryl Crow, collaborated. The band thus began to make itself known to the general public, becoming one of the most clicked on YouTube, with 90 million views. This media popularity is also due to their habit of playing acoustic covers of famous songs, including songs by Rihanna, Oasis, Coldplay and Linkin Park. The band has currently released only one unreleased album, although they have released four volumes of Acoustic Sessions'which include the above-mentioned covers.

Following the success of the US tour, the Boyce Avenue have decided to continue with new dates all over the world, including Italy.
