11/4/08: VAN MORRISON: PHOTOS FROM THE FIRST EVENINGEVENING - 8PM - REPEAT PERFORMANCE

A concert of great intensity and atmosphere, in which the Irish songwriter alternated between historical pieces - a beautiful jazz version of 'Moondance', Have I Told You Lately That I Love You, Bright side of the Road, Tupelo Honey, Van loose Starway e I've been loving you too longto tracks from the latest album 'Keep it simple'whose tiltle-track served as the closing track as Van Morrison walked off stage with his band still on stage. Eleven elements accompanied him on this version of 'An Evening with...'eleven outstanding musicians: three backing singers, two electric guitarists and an acoustic guitarist (who also often played benjo and steel guitar), keyboards, bass, drums and violin. Obviously The Man He repeatedly took up his saxophone and guitar, as well as enchanting the audience with his harmonica.
