15/09/08: LIVE PILLS ACROSS:SOURCE (GERMANY)

It starts with the Source a sequence of impressions and short reviews of what we saw during these 3 days of music from all over Europe that swept through Milan for the first edition of Live Across, a courageous and original project commissioned by the Region of Lombardy and realised by Barley Arts.
With the SORGENTE back to the second day of the event, about 10.50 p.m. at the Music Salumeriaone of the four venues that hosted the 35 concerts.
Unfortunately for the German sextet, at the same time a few metres away, at The House 139 are performing the Rezophonic, perhaps the act that drew the largest audience of the Milanese weekend. However also The Music Salumeria It is cosy and the audience is immediately drawn in by the extravagant performance of Sorgente: a band to be seen as well as heard. Funky, seventies-tinged looks and captivating movements immediately attract the attention of those present, who will not fail to show their enthusiasm. Authors of three successful albums in their homeland, there is no doubt that the live dimension gives Sorgente several extra points. Their 40-minute set has no weak points. The charisma of the singer and guitarist is excellent. Ojam and the keyboardist Fafuuauthentic front men who also entertain with their way of 'holding the stage'.
Highly recommended!
