It will be Irene La Medica, probably Italy's most popular female R&B performer, to open the only Italian leg of Estelle, the season's revelation voice. Irene, who is also famous for being the host of the hip-hop world guide programme, Soulsista on air on radio Deejay, has just written with Mixed B, the Italian representative of the European DjLeague, an unreleased track 'You Send Me Out'which is currently also being released on the web in a remix version with the participation of Ahmir ( Boston-based R&B group). She is recently on Radio Deejay with a version she re-adapted into Italian of American Boy by Estelle.
Irene is currently in the studio recording her new album due for release in spring 2009, and continues to host her radio show.
