The Muse returns to song! Loreena McKennitt will be in Italy for 2 concerts in summer 2008, on 12 July at Udine Castle (Folkest Festival) and on the 13th in Piazza Duomo in Brescia, as part of a somewhat surprise European tour, just over a year after the highly acclaimed Ancient Muse Tour in 2007.
"We were so thrilled with the success of the European tour in 2007, with all the concerts sold out, that we couldn't help but return to play in the Old Continent, taking advantage in this case of the opportunity to play outdoors, in some of the most beautiful and undiscovered locations of the past year". This is how Loreena McKennitt explains the desire to meet fans live again, also following the release of the DVD 'Live from the Alahambra', which captured one of the best concerts of the Ancient Muse Tour.
The Live in Concert 2008 starts on 27 June in the Netherlands and ends on 25 July in France. Tickets for the only 2 concerts in Italy are available from 25 March.
