23/11/09: SONIC BOOM OVER EUROPE: FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE BOOM

Authentic rock legends KISS announce the European leg of their 'Sonic Boom Over Europe: from the beginning to the boom' tour, which will touch down in Italy for a single date on 18 May at Milan's Mediolanum Forum. Like every tour by the New York band, this one, named after their latest unreleased album 'Sonic Boom' released in September 2009, is set to be the rock event of the coming season.

The European tour will take in Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, France, Spain and Belgium and will see KISS return to perform in an English arena after eleven years. First date for Paul and co. in Slovakia.

In addition to the great success that their latest album is enjoying all over the world, KISS are also returning from the triumph of the 2008 'Alive 35' tour, which came to Italy with two dates, the unforgettable one at the Arena in Verona and later on at the Forum in Milan, the ideal location to enjoy all the spectacular trappings of a KISS show.

The band's management informs that the new tour will be even more spectacular than the one staged in 2008, with new effects that will make the 'Sonic Boom over Europe' one of the most spectacular shows ever. As the singer and guitarist says Paul StanleyAlive 35 was only the beginning. The new tour will bury the previous one. A new stage, a new setlist and a new album! We will cover the entire history of the band on a stage that will make KISS true rock giants. You want the best? You'll get it!"

Gene Simmons, bassist and vocalist, as well as rock's most famous tongue: 'Now, more than ever, KISS is travelling at full throttle and our mission is to bring rock to the whole of Planet Earth and spread the word of Sonic Boom'.

With over 80 million records sold, KISS are among the most influential bands in rock history. Thirty-five years of a stellar career has resulted in VH1 ranking them as the tenth most important artist of all time in the genre. The last chance for fans to see the Alive 35 Tour before KISS turns their attention to the new 'Sonic Boom over Europe' will be on 25 November, when their concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles will be streamed on the band's official Facebook.
