26/07/09:LENNY KRAVITZ AT THE ROMAN DEBUT: THE FINALE OF HIS SUMMER TOUR STARTS IN THE CAPITAL

Lenny plays for the first time in Rome on Sunday 26 July, at the Palalottomatica. The concert, which makes up for the cancellation of the one planned for 5 June (tickets already purchased remain valid), is also the artist's debut in the capital, where he has previously played only on one other occasion, as part of a festival in 2002. Now Lenny arrives in great artistic form and in a particular state of grace.
The more than five thousand spectators who saw him in concert in Turin on 3 June enjoyed two hours of great music, played by a practically perfect band, and an incomparable setlist, although it is never the same every night. Lenny revisited some of the best moments of his 20-year career, offering songs that show no signs of time at all, on the contrary, at a distance they acquire more depth, be it "Let Love Rule", "Are You Gonna Go May Way", "Always on the Run", "American Woman", "Believe", "I Belong To You", "Where are We Running"... or any of the other hits scheduled for this tour.
The LLR 20(09) tour is named after the 20th anniversary of Lenny Kravitz's legendary first album, which has sold more than 2 million copies to date and has just been re-released in a special "Let Love Rule 20th Anniversary Edition". with the addition of six bonus tracks and an extra live CD. In 2009, the artist celebrates 20 years of success, which began in 1989 with the explosive release of 'Let Love Rule', an album full of funky and soulful, yet distinctly rock influences, which from the first single Mr Cab Driver' heralded the birth of a star who would dominate the charts in the following decade and those to follow. Nine albums later, all certified multi-platinum, Lenny is recognised as one of the most important and eclectic artists, the best interpreter of rock contaminated by black music, one of the most sincere performers, who gives his best on stage, accompanied by excellent musicians.
After the concert on Sunday 26 July in Rome, two more dates in Italy, in Cattolica in the province of Rimini on the 28th and in Tarvisio in the province of Udine on the 29th, seal the end of the European tour.
