50 Cent's new album, The Massacre, is released today in Italy. The American rapper with a stormy past and from the ghetto, discovered by Eminem and Dr.Dre, debuted two years ago with Get Rich or Die tryin, a highly successful album with 10 million copies sold worldwide.
In Italy, 50 Cent made himself known to the general public with the single 'In Da Club"a hit that was danced and played for months in the radio airplay. The debut album sold more than seventy thousand copies and his only concert in Milan was sold out with around twelve thousand people in attendance.
The new album, The Massacrestill sees the proven production of Eminem e Dr. Dre, among the most important rapper contributors to the album. In the tracks, 50 Cent once again talks about his past life lived dangerously on the streets of the ghetto, hinting at a desire for redemption.
