The Municipality of Milanin collaboration with ATM e Barley Arts, repeats for the second consecutive year the agreement to allow free use of surface transport and the metro for those who have purchased a ticket for the concert of Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band, scheduled for 3 June at the San Siro Stadium. The operation, first successfully tested at the Springsteen concert in 2012, allows ticket holders to free travel on ATM vehicles throughout the day on Monday 3 June and until the end of the service, which for the occasion will be upgraded both in terms of the number of trips available and the timetable, extended on the M1 red line, with 8 additional trips departing from Lotto station between 0.30 and 1.10 am and heading to the Sesto FS terminus.
But here are all the details of the initiative, which represents a strong signal of welcome from the city of Milan, strongly desired by the organiser of this concert, towards the 60,000 people who will have to reach the San Siro Stadium and then leave it at the end of the concert, with the least possible environmental impact on the road system.
The concert ticket entitles you to travel on the metro, bus and trams on urban sections, excluding the Passante Ferroviario, all day Monday 3 June. For the metro, you must collect your ticket free of charge from ATM machines by entering the fiscal seal which is printed on each ticket, a unique 16-character alphanumeric code, preceded by the letters SF, while on surface transport, it is sufficient to show the original concert ticket, which is valid as a ticket.
The ATM daily urban ticket can be picked up at any ATM machine on the Milan underground line from THURSDAY 30 MAY. Every day until 3 June, from 2 p.m. onwards, it will be possible to collect the ticket linked to tickets bought by 11.59 p.m. on the previous day.
Not even the last buyers will be discriminated against, although at the moment the coupons still available for the Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band concert at San Siro are only a few hundred and all of them are numbered third rings: those who buy them on 3 June at the points of sale will be able to use them to travel on surface transport, and at the Stadium ticket office they will receive a ticket valid for the return journey on the entire ATM urban network.
Those who finally made their purchase via the web on Ticketone.co.uk, choosing the 'pick-up at the venue' option, will receive an email by Customer Service with the Fiscal Seal relating to your ticket and you will then be able to collect your ATM ticket according to the same procedure as if you already had the paper ticket in your hand.
It is also worth mentioning the joint effort of Atm and the Municipality of Milan for the enhancement of means that, during the time slots 17.00 - 21.00 and 23.30 - 1.30, concerns the line tramway 16 with shuttles between Segesta-Cantù (Duomo M1-M3) and return, bus replacement connection reinforcement line 16 Segesta - Axum in inflow, Axum - m.te Falterona - Zavattari - Lotto M1 in outflow; Circulars 90 and 91, the shuttles from the Bisceglie and Molino Dorino car parks to the stadium and back (with transit also at the S.
