After the sold-out show at Milan's Forum two years ago, the most spectacular and iconic band ever returns to Italy: You wanted the Best, You got the Best: Kiss!
There will be two dates in Italy as part of the European summer tour that is being drawn up in recent weeks. After the confirmations in Scandinavia and Germany, it is our country's turn. On 18 June Kiss will bring their irresistible show of music, fireworks and special effects to the splendid setting of Villa Manin in Udine and on 20 June to the Forum in Milan.
Kiss released 'Monster' this year, their 20th studio album, a straightforward, played and inspired work: a record that brings Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons' band closer to the sounds of the 1970s, those that characterised masterpieces such as 'Destroyer' and 'Love Gun'.
The tour, which is currently touring South America with sold-out dates everywhere, represents a new challenge: more lights, more twists, more spectacle. This is the Kiss philosophy and history has always proved them right.
Not to be forgotten are the songs. Apart from the make-up, apart from the boots, apart from the comics and the films, the element that has made this band unique more than anything else are the hits: among them 'Detroit Rock City', 'Love Gun', 'Shout it out Loud', 'I was made for Loving You', 'Black Diamond', 'Lick it Up' and the unfailing anthem of 'I wanna Rock & Roll All Nite'. On stage alongside Paul Stanley (vocals and guitar) and Gene Simmons (vocals and bass) are the now trusted Tommy Thayer on guitar and Eric Singer on drums.
