Israel NashAmerican singer-songwriter defined by Uncut "a psychedelic pioneer, biblical in name and beard", will be in Italy with his band Wednesday 7 November at Legend Club in Milan; opening act of the evening will be Matthew Logan Vasquez. I tickets will be on sale on Vivaticket (online and point of sale) from 10 a.m. on Friday 4 May.
The concert is an excellent opportunity to hear tracks from the new album by Nashwhose release on Loose Music is scheduled for release in the summer. It is the artist's fifth studio work, recorded in his studio Plum Creek Sound in Dripping Springs, Texas, and follows the release of Silver Seasons (Loose/Thirty Tigers, 2015) that for Uncut is 'undoubtedly immense'. Despite its Texas residency, the sound of Nash has its roots in 1960s Los Angeles folk-rock, with obvious references to the sound of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and the whole movement spawned by the Newport Folk Festival.
