I Divine Comedy are the band name of Neil Hannon, an admired and creative Northern Irish musician and songwriter, who even three months ago made headlines for writing the songs for the film Wonka: but with the Divine Comedy had great successes especially in the 1990s, with songs that were quite unique for the originality and humour of the lyrics and the orchestral arrangements spectacular (there will also be a string quartet in Peccioli), and has built up a following that has often taken him on tour in Italy in the past years.
