BLANCO WHITE, the English singer-songwriter with a Latin soul, COMES BACK TO ITALY

A little less than a year after his first stop in Milan, the guitarist and singer-songwriter will return to Italy for the second time Blanco White, stage name of Londoner Josh Edwards. The appointment is for Thursday 17 October at Circolo Ohibò by Milan. After studying guitar in Cadiz, Spain, Josh moved to Bolivia, where he studied the charango, a stringed instrument typically used in South American territory. Thanks to these travels and the resulting encounters with different cultures, Edwards manages to mix Latin and Andalusian influences at Anglo-Saxon folkcreating something unmistakable, exotic and mystical. The singer-songwriter has his first full length album in the pipeline, due out by Yucatan Records by the end of the year, which follows the EP The Wind Rose (2016), Colder Heavens (2017) e Nocturne (2018). While waiting to hear what the new tracks will be, the official video for Sol, single from the latest EP, and today, accompanying the announcement of the new tour, is the release of Colder Heavensmade during a live session in London.

In the past year, the artist has seen his fan base grow thanks to concerts, showcases and appearances at international festivals such as theEurosonicThe Great Escape e Reeperbahnand reached 100 million total listens on streaming platforms. This year Blanco White will embark on a long tour, starting in North America in September and then finally touching down in Europe.
