COUNTING CROWS: RETURN WITH SOMEWHERE UNDER WONDERLAND IN NOVEMBER

After a long absence, the Counting Crows return to our country with Somewhere Under Wonderland Tour.

The European branch of the tour will start on 1 November from Birmingham and will touch down in all major cities, before stopping in Italy for two dates: 22 November at the Gran Teatro Geox in Padua e on the 23rd at Alcatraz in Milan.

"Probably the best part of a career like ours is the opportunity to travel the world. I'll never forget the day we landed in London to start our first European tour, or what we felt when we went out for a walk after a show, in the middle of the night, and found ourselves in front of the Eiffel Tower," said singer Adam Duritz. 'European tours are great. I can't wait."

The band recently announced the release of their new album, 'Somewhere Under Wonderland'scheduled for next September. The Counting Crows' seventh studio work comes six years after 'Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings'.and the new material will be presented to fans during the tour, along with the band's big hits.

The Counting Crows became a symbol of the so-called Generation X with their debut album, 'August and Everything After'considered one of the best alternative rock albums of the 1990s. Twenty-one years later, hits such as "Mr. Jones" e 'Round Here' continue to be played on the radio and are also known to the younger generation. During its long career, the band has sold more than twenty million copies worldwide and collected several awards including, in 2004, the Oscar nomination for Best Original Song for the track 'Accidentally in Love'contained in the soundtrack of Shrek 2.
