The Easy Star All-Stars, the New York-based collective known for its reggae/dub reinterpretations of albums that have made rock history, return to Italy for the "Dub Side Of The Moon - Anniversary Tour". At the already announced date of 27 July in Sesto San Giovanni (MI) at Carropontetwo new dates are added: 29 July in Rome at Eutropia c/o Città dell'Altra Economia, e 30 July in Gallipoli (LE) at Parco Gondar.
The band will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the release of its most acclaimed album, 'Dub Side Of The Moon"homage to the masterpiece of Pink Floyd "The Dark Side Of The Moon', and will perform the album in its entirety, in conjunction with other of his most famous tracks.
Blending musical versatility, instrumental prowess, beautiful vocal harmonies and a prominent rhythm section, the Easy Star All-Stars have established themselves as one of the leading acts on the international reggae scene. Thanks to their releases of tribute albums - from 'Dub Side of the Moon" (2003) a "Radiodread"(2006), via "Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band' (2009) to the remix album 'Dubber Side of the Moon"(2010) - as well as the original releases "Until That Day EP" (2008) e "First Light"(2011), the Easy Star All-Stars have built a growing fan base worldwide, and have brought together lovers of reggae, classic rock, dub and indie rock into one big family.
