With a career spanning almost forty years, the D-A-D - disputed acronym of Disneyland After Dark - are one of the most popular heavy metal bands of the 80s. More than five years after their last visit to our country, they are ready to make a stop in Italy to present their newest album A Prayer For The Loud (AFM Records, 2019): appointment Wednesday 4 December at Legend Club by Milan e Thursday 5 December at Locomotiv Club by Bologna. Tickets for both dates are available on the circuits Ticketone (online and point of sale), Vivaticket (Milan) and Boxerticket (Bologna); access to the concert in Bologna will require the AICS membership card. A Prayer For The Loud comes eight years after the previous album and builds on the early work of the line-up, which consists of Jesper Binzer (vocals and guitar), Stig Pedersen (low), Jacob Binzer (guitar) and Laust Sonne (drums). Each of the eleven tracks has been chosen from the many pieces the band has composed over the years and the result is a mix of vintage sounds and adrenaline-pumping rock. "In the past we have sometimes gone down new paths to try something different, something that was far away from what we usually do. It's been fun, but for this record we preferred to keep our true essence and tell the story of who we really are. A Prayer For The Loud is a record where the focus is on the melodies and the energy the music has to give. We were meticulous with the details, it wasn't easy, but we can say we're proud of the result.". I D-A-D are currently on a tour through the motherland, then will move around Europe until they arrive in Italy in December.
