After the summer mini-tour that took him around our country, Jake Clemons officially announces the release of its new album Eyes on the Horizon (The Orchard)scheduled for next year 6 September. To present the work, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will be engaged in a tour that will also take him to Italy for two dates: Friday 1 November at OFF in Modena e Sunday 3 November at the Serraglio in Milan. Eyes on the Horizon is the sequel to Fear + Love (2017)who gained critical acclaim thanks to Democracy - reinterpretation of the classic by Leonard Cohen - e Consumption Town with Tom Morello on guitar. In this new work Clemons recorded the guitar, keyboard and saxophone parts, and was joined by Jake Hull e Eddie Kramer, legendary producer of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Beatles and many others.
Despite having inherited the prestigious position of saxophonist of the E Street Band by Bruce Springsteen from his uncle Clarence, Clemons has decided to pursue his career without taking anything for granted. "I analyse my life through music and I hope there is always growth in everything I do," he says. Jake. "This album is very different from what I've done so far. The previous work reflected a personal and inner point of view, while Eyes on the Horizon is much more outward-looking and addresses the problems and difficulties we find in today's world'.
