Faithless, the world's most famous 'cult dance band', will come to Italy on 24 November at Alcatraz in Milan. Formed in London in 1995, the group consists of Rollo Armstrong (brother of world pop star Dido), Maxi Jazz (MC and speaker in underground radio) and Sister Bliss.
Having grown up in the rave dimension of the lands of Albion, Faithless are THE live band par excellence: just ask around how many bands can claim to have played at the Arctic Circle! Or on the beaches of Costa Rica and Turkey. Faithless' live set is a concentration of emotional intensity and refined electronic beats, mixing house, blues, folk and rap.
No Roots is the new album, the fourth in the band's career, which jumped to number one in the UK charts this summer. No Roots is also the consecration album of the Faithless credo: dance music understood as rock, rock understood as dance music. The barrier between the two seemingly unapproachable worlds no longer exists when listening to the London band.
