Legendary Japanese guitarist Tomoyasu Hoteicurrently on tour with Zucchero, announces his first headlining show in our country. The appointment is Thursday 11 October at the Serraglio in Milan. Londoner by adoption, Hotei has a special affection for Italy thanks to its association with Sugar over the past two years: Hotei's guitars accompanied the Italian bluesman in his record-breaking 22 shows at the Arena di Verona, San Remo and London's Royal Albert Hall in 2017 and in Turin and Milan in 2018. Hotei also invited Zucchero to perform with his band in Tokyo in 2016.

Over the course of his more than 35-year career, he has sold more than 40 million records and has established himself for his ability to move through a wide variety of styles thanks to his virtuosity and compositional skills. For his 35th year in music in 2016, Hotei celebrated with a wide range of activities in Japan, including a new album, 51 Emotionsand a 57-date world tour that ended at the Budokan Arena in Tokyo. Hotei released its 19th studio album, Paradox, in Japan in 2017 and new music is planned for 2017. The international debut album, Strangers, was released in 2015 to great critical acclaim and numerous collaborations, including Iggy Pop e Matt Tuckand a live tour in the USA and Europe. The most successful international track is Battle Without Honor or Humanitymade famous by the film masterpiece by Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill (2003) and filmed in several films, TV series and sports programmes. Hotei has written, recorded and performed live with numerous artists, including Sugar, Iggy Pop and the Rolling Stones.
