The band's latest album is XXMII, released just a few months ago.

In 2011, the band released the live album 'Down by the River', which came about 'by the hand' of Geordie Walker (guitarist and founder of Killing Joke - with Jaz Coleman, Paul Ferguson and Martin Youth Glover) and was recorded on the occasion of Killing Joke's appearance at the Royal Festival Hall in London. "It was the band's 25-year separation," Walker writes, "and the subsequent reunion of the original line-up that moved the idea.
Killing Joke, innovators of a musical genre combining metal with post-punk and new wave, formed in London in the late 1970s. They released their first record, the eponymous 'Killing Joke', in 1980, still considered a classic of the genre. Ten successful albums and then the break-up in 1996. The band continued with Jaz Coleman and Geordie Walker before reuniting after twelve years.
The band's new direction started in 2008 with 'Absolute Dissent', which won 'Album of the Year' in the UK.
Killing Joke are on tour to present their new 'XXMII' to the public.
