In 24 hours' time it will be 'IL GIORNO DEI GIORNI' for Luciano Ligabue (from the title of his first single, on all radios since 2 September, which went straight to the first place in the Music Control chart of the most played songs on the radios).
At 12.00 noon the doors of Campovolo in Reggio Emilia will open and at 9.00 p.m., preceded by supporters, DJ sets and special guests, Luciano Ligabue's return to the stage (or rather, four stages) will take place. The Emilian rocker will retrace 15 years of his fantastic career and present live three new songs from "FIRST AND LAST NAME"(his new album of unreleased tracks, to be released on 16 September, already backed by 200,000 copies booked by record shops): 'The Day of Days', 'Happy Hour' and 'I'm Here for Love'.
Produced and organised by Barley Arts and Friends & Partners, in agreement with Riservarossa, Ligabue's concert was conceived and designed for a single performance with a stage structure never before used by any artist in the world.
According to the latest data collected last night by the organisers, they are more than 170,000 people bought tickets to see/hear Ligabue's only concert in 2005 at Campovolo in Reggio Emilia.
Tomorrow night will be a day to live and talk about. An event in terms of organisation and music production that can already boast (in advance, by the way) the European record of tickets sold in a concert by a single artist (the previous record belonged to U2, who sold 146,000 tickets at Campovolo in Reggio Emilia on 20 September 1997).
The last available tickets go on sale today at the usual presale outlets and in the more than 500 points of sale of the Green Ticket, Amit, Unicredit and Box Office circuits, and tomorrow at the Campovolo box office. Tickets cost 30 euro. For information: www.campovolo.com.
LIGABUE (starting at 21.00) will play on the Main Stage (approx. 1h. 30 min., in two parts: at the beginning and end of the concert) with The Band (Federico Poggipollini, Mel Previte, Robby Pellati, Antonio Righetti, Niccolò Bossini); on the Vintage Stage (about 30 minutes) with the ClanDestino (Max Cottafavi, Luciano Ghezzi, Gigi Cavalli Cocchi, Giovanni Marani, Niccolò Bossini), Daniele Moretto (trumpet) and the Monte Cusna Choir; on the Theatre Stage (approx. 20 minutes) with Mauro Pagani and the Solo Stage (15 minutes) in acoustic version (voice and guitar).
Apart from thehomage to Battisti (as 220 bands throughout Italy as part of the 'BandaBattisti' project, at 12.00 noon on RossoAlice and in audio at Campovolo Luciano will play his version of 'La canzone del sole') and DJ sets by Luca De Gennaro e D-TrotThe following supporters/artists will take the Main Stage before Ligabue:
