THE RETURN OF ROYAL HUNT IN MAY IN ITALY

The historic progressive metal power band that topped the European charts in the 1990s is back on track: the Royal Hunt. The band, which will perform at theR'n'R Arena in Romagnano Sesia on 25 May 2012, re-emerges with an album more representative than ever of the genre that has always distinguished it. "Show me how to live"published last December for Frontier Records and eleventh chapter in Hunti's discography, returns to the most congenial territories of the early Royal Hunt, that symphonic-progressive heavy metal that had decreed their resounding success.
Not only that... for the past year Royal Hunt have been announcing the highly anticipated return of the great D.C. Cooperthe band's historic singer, thus proclaiming the definitive reunion of the original line-up. The Danish band has always stood out for the uniqueness of its genre, an epic, symphonic, orchestral heavy metal with an almost baroque atmosphere. A concentrate of technique, class and personality. A 'classic metal' style that is more unique than rare.

Founded in 1991 on the initiative of keyboardist André Andersen, Royal Hunt reached the pinnacle of success with the albums 'Moving Target" (1995) e "Paradox" (1997).

The band has gone through various phases in the course of its career, alternating between happy moments and controversial interludes. After D.C. Cooper - frontman of Royal Hunt in its heyday (1994-1999) - came John West (by Artension) and the famous Mark Boals.

In 2010, after the release of the album '.X' and a short tour, Royal Hunt announced the return of the historic singer and released, in December 2011, 'Show me how to live', a work that will bring them back to the splendour of the first era.
