JAMES MORRISON and NATALIE IMBRUGLIA, one date together in Prato on 1 September!

This year September Prato is a spectacle will host a show that will not fail to thrill fans of pop rock songwriting: Thursday 1 September 2022 James Morrison e Natalie Imbruglia will be on stage at the Prato festival for their only Italian date together on the same stage. I tickets are already available on Ticketone.

2022 will see James Morrison finally touring Europe after two and a half years, for the first time with a Greatest Hits tour. The live show will combine his most famous pieces (You Give Me Something, Wonderful World, You Make It Real, Broken Strings e I Won't Let You Go) to a selection of fan-favourite tracks, giving an accurate overview of a 15-year career. James Morrison commented "It's been far too long since we last saw each other and I'm really happy to announce these special shows. Playing live is something I've really missed in the last year, and since it's been about fifteen years since my debut, a lot of my songs have transformed over time with new emotions, meanings and ways of my band playing them. I've also improved as a singer and I bring my songs to life in another way. My tour Greatest Hits wants to reflect that. I'm really looking forward to getting back into a hall to share my best tracks with all the fans. I can't wait to meet you all again, it will be incredible!"

Writer's block is every artist's worst nightmare. Ten years ago, this dreadful experience almost ended the musical career of the artist. Natalie Imbruglia. To get out of it, in the summer of 2018 the Australian singer-songwriter travelled to Nashville for ten days of intensive writing, with an exhausting start that led to the birth of When You Love Too Much. The song, a country-tinged ballad about emotional vulnerability, is the first track on the band's sixth studio album. Imbruglia, Firebird. "Sometimes we need something in our vision to remind us of who we are and what we are capable of,' says the Imbuglia about rediscovering his own voice. The other songs on the album were released over the next two years. The title track was written in collaboration with Romeo Stodart of The Magic Numbers and talks about the relationship between strength and fragility; Maybe It's Great co-authored by the guitarist of the Strokes Albert Hammond Jr and its long-time producer Gus Oberg, and was recorded at Rockinghorse Studios in Byron Bay in early 2019. Although the album was written in multiple locations around the world, it was recorded entirely during the lockdown, just a few months after the birth of the Imbruglia.
