JOHN MAYALL : THE LION OF MANCHESTER RETURNS TO ITALY IN JULY

As far as English music is concerned, John Mayall is the leading exponent of the white brit blues, a historical name in 'devil music' since the 1960s, nicknamed the Lion of Manchester, his birthplace, discoverer of a certain Eric ClaptonThere are so many more stories that this still sprightly seventy-year-old could tell, and that he implicitly continues to tell through his work since his debut album in 1965.

November 2003 brought the Manchester Lion's return to Italy, welcomed by the great affection and admiration that the Italian public continues to have for him.

Accompanying him, in November as in new tour in July 2004, the historic BluesBreakers with Tom Canning on keyboards, Joe Yuele on drums, Hank Van Sickle bass and Buddy Whittington on guitars.
