After the release of the album 'Demian'the second of his career, AURA is embarking on a fascinating new artistic adventure by embarking on a series of concerts in the company of the Genoese GNU QUARTET, a line-up consisting of Francesca Rapetti (transverse flute and voice), Roberto Izzo (violin), Raffaele Rebaudengo (violet) and Stefano Cabrera (cello).
With this line-up, in recent months, L'Aura has received wide acclaim in important squares and at prestigious events such as the Monteprandone Jazz Festival (AP) and the Florence Creativity Festival. The compositions of the Brescian singer-songwriter (who will perform at the piano as well as on vocals) will therefore be re-proposed with a new outfit, thanks also to the experience of her new travelling companions, who boast illustrious collaborations in the Italian pop universe, such as Renato Zero and in modern folk, such as Yo Yo Mundi.
After the summer dates tackled with the classic 'rock' line-up, L'Aura felt the need to give back importance to the melody of her songs by proposing them in a more acoustic version, on the strength of an audience that has grown up with her in recent years and is very attentive to musical nuances.
After the success of Okumuki' (gold disc), Demian, L'Aura's second album, was released on 8 June 2007. It contains thirteen tracks, some sung in Italian, others in English. The album is particularly nuanced, with frequent changes of register, ranging from the strong tones of rock to the more delicate tones of ballads and jazz. The first single 'Not a fairy tale' represents its more modern and experimental side while "It's for you", the second extract, features a collaboration with the singer of the Deasonika Max Zanotti for a touching ballad in the singer-songwriter's more melodic style.
