L'Aura, a new talent of Italian songwriting, will be among the protagonists of the musical afternoon that on 10 September will precede Ligabue's big concert at Campovolo in Reggio Emilia. L'Aura will take the stage at about 4 p.m. to present, accompanied by her band, some tracks from her first album 'Okumuki'.
For the young artist, this is a prestigious occasion that crowns an extraordinarily brilliant start to her career. Only 21 years old, L'Aura made her debut with the album, "Okumuki"published last April. Since then, an unstoppable series of commitments and gratifying confirmations have marked her artistic career. Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, L'Aura has appeared more and more convincing in live performances, so much so that an increasingly large and loyal group of fans follow her in concerts and through her much-visited website www.l-aura.com.
In addition to Ligabue, other major Italian and international artists had chosen it to open their concerts, from Renato Zero e Morgan a Lenny Kravitz. "Radio Star", the first single from "Okumuki", has been one of the biggest radio hits of the last few months and led L'Aura to participate in Festivalbar. The videoclip, shot on the streets of Los Angeles, has been in high rotation on MTV and other music channels and has now been nominated for the Italian Videoclip Award 2005 in the "Female Artist" category, an award that will be awarded soon.
The radio stations have started to play the new single "Today"The video, already in rotation on MTV, was shot on the beaches of California.
