After 100 years, the legend of the world's most famous cruise ship returns to the stage in a musical, 'Titanic', on stage from 27 November to 9 December 2012 at the Teatro Nuovo in Milan.
The show is the brainchild of Federico Bellone, who after having until recently held the role of artistic director for Stage Entertainment ("Beauty and the Beast" and "Flashdance" among others), is here engaged in the dual role of director and co-producer. Joining him in this role is Barley Arts, which after two successful seasons with Queen's "We Will Rock You", is now, with "Titanic", on its second experience in the production of a musical.
"Titanic - the musical", for the first time in Italy, interprets in a theatrical key a heart-rending love story, which has now become a legend, with scene changes, sumptuous costumes, special effects and an unforgettable theme by Maestro Ennio Morricone, in a mix of adventure, mystery, sentiment, action, luxury and sensuality, to create a fresco of characters from the early 1900s, so different from each other but all equal in the face of destiny.
Tickets to relive the Titanic legend at the theatre are available from 14 April 2012 on the Ticketone circuit (internet and points of sale) and at the Teatro Nuovo box office. In addition, on the occasion of the Titanic centenary, from 14 to 30 April special promotions and initiatives will be activated, which can be viewed at www.titanicilmusical.it
