LIGA CLOSES 2006 TOUR: TOMORROW, 20 AND 21 DECEMBER THREE CHARITY DATES IN CORREGGIO

With the last five of the seven Rome dates of his theatre tour, the triumphant tour of Luciano Ligabue.
The 'Name and Surname Tour 2006' has seen the rocker from Correggio as a protagonist in 7 clubs, 9 arenas, 13 stadiums and 50 theatres, for a total of over 80 concerts, all strictly 'sold out'!

10 September 2005: Ligabue gathers 180,000 spectators at Campovolo in Reggio Emilia. One big concert, four stages, four different musical attitudes.
In the months following the event, which entered rock history by right, the idea was born to take that show around Italy, breaking it down into four different situations: first in clubs, then in stadiums and finally in theatres.
One year (2006), one tour, but different productions, setlists, arrangements and musicians.
And now Luciano Ligabue, at the end of the tour, has decided to return to where the 'Name and Surname Tour' originated, with the Campovolo event: in Reggio Emilia. Tomorrow, 20 and 22 December, in fact, three concerts will be held at the Teatro Municipale Romolo Valli (already 'sold out' in advance), organised in collaboration with the city of Reggio Emilia, the proceeds of which will go to four solidarity projects (building schools in Pakistan, building a kindergarten in Belo Horizonte, microcredit and street lawyers).

On 22 December, exceptionally, the concert will be double: in the theatre and... in the square. In the area in front of the Valli Theatre, in fact, a giant screen (6 metres x 8 metres) will be set up to broadcast Ligabue's last concert of 2006 live, thus sealing a fantastic and successful year for the Emilian rocker.
Accompanied by Mauro Pagani, with Mel Previte (guitar and saxophone), Antonio "Rigo" Righetti (bass and double bass), Robby "Sanchez" Pellati (drums) and Josè Fiorilli (keyboards), Ligabue will give a two-part performance. During the two-hour concert he will also read some poems from his collection 'Lettere d'amore nel frigo' (Giulio Einaudi Editore).
The album 'Nome e Cognome' (released by Warner Music in September 2005) has now sold 500,000 copies, while the DVD 'Ligabue - Nome e Cognome Tour / 2006' (a box set with 5 DVDs to tell the story of a year and a truly unique tour: 4 different shows in a single tour, 4 different concerts in a single box, 92 performances of 57 songs, 10 hours of audio/video material), released a few weeks ago by Warner Music, has already sold 50,000 copies.000 copies sold: figures that, together with those of the Campovolo event and the 'Nome e Cognome Tour' split into four parts (clubs, sports stadiums, stadiums and theatres), make Luciano Ligabue's 2005/2006 a record-breaking two-year period!
