PAOLA TURCI: IO SONO Summer Tour

After the recent live on stage at the May Day Concert, PAOLA TURCI's summer tour starts in June, during which the artist will present her latest album 'IO SONO' (Warner Music) stopping at some of Italy's most evocative locations, such as Villa Ada in Rome and the Parco del Cavaticcio in Bologna.

"Never before have I been so eager to start a new tour - recounts Paola Turci - I will be accompanied by my band but otherwise there will be a lot of new things, starting with the music, the arrangements, the songs and also some special dates where I will perform alone. We have worked a lot to give this concert the sound that I have had in mind for a long time and which I now feel is mine to the full. I could say that "I am" this concert and I can't wait to take it on the road this summer for those who want to hear it. Finally we go!".

During this tour, Paola Turci will be accompanied on stage by Fabrizio Fratepietro (drums), Pierpaolo Ranieri (bass) and Fernando Pantini (electric guitar) presenting the new album and all his greatest hits with his expressive drive and grit. Sounds will be provided by the sound engineer Mirko Cascio.

The album "I AM"(Effepi/Warner Music), which went straight into the top 10 best-selling albums in its first week of release, celebrates Paola Turci's 30-year career by combining twelve songs from her repertoire, completely reinterpreted in a new acoustic-electronic guise, with three previously unreleased tracks: 'I am", "This is not a song" e "How many lives we live". The record, realised with the artistic collaboration of producer Federico Dragogna (Ministri, Le Luci della Centrale Elettrica, Iori's Eyes), traces Paola's artistic itinerary through a targeted and personal selection of songs that have marked her milestones.

The album is available in record shops, on iTunes and on Amazon .

The first single from the album is the title track 'Io sono', written with Francesco Bianconi and Pippo Rinaldi 'Kaballà:
