Last 12 November, on the occasion of their Italian premiere, they filled Milan's Magazzini Generali, captivating the large audience that came with their irresistible mix of cleverly rearranged pop hits. I Pentatonixthe US vocal quintet winner of the NBC 'The Sing-Off'return in spring with a single date on the8 May at the Gran Teatro Geox in Padua.

Originally from Arlington, Texas, the Pentatonix formed in 2011 from the meeting of three soloists Scott Hoying, Kirstie Maldonado e Mitch Grassi with the rhythm section consisting of Avi Kaplan to the vocal bass and from Kevin "K.O." Olusola in the role of beatboxer. In the same year, the band participated in the third edition of the NBC talent show 'The Sing-Off'consolidating their sound and chemistry episode after episode, and refining a style that became their signature, until they won the competition.
On 5 November 2013 the Pentatonix have released their second full length, 'PTX Volume 2', which reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart and contains, among other tracks, a cappella remakes of some of the biggest contemporary hits, from 'Can't Hold Us"of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (http://youtu.be/OglS3Q0Zxik) to an incredible medley from the repertoire of the Daft Punk (http://youtu.be/3MteSlpxCpo).
At the live rehearsal, the Pentatonix offer an essay of their astonishing talent, combining complex arrangements with a catchy and undeniably infectious pop form, shattering preconceptions about music in the absence of instruments and paving the way for new sonic horizons full of possibilities to be explored.
