Winners of three Grammy® Awards and numerous platinum records, the Pentatonix have sold ten million albums and performed for hundreds of thousands of fans at sold-out shows around the world. Their YouTube channel has over 17 million subscribers, which has helped them reach 4 billion views. Their self-titled album was certified gold after reaching number one on Billboard's 200 on its debut.
In addition, nine of their albums have made it into the top 10 on Billboard's 200 (two of which have reached number one) and they have received multiple RIAA awards for their multi-platinum, platinum and gold-certified albums and singles. Their tracks Mary, Did You Know? e Hallelujah have been certified platinum, while their original track Can't Sleep Love was certified gold. The group produced three Christmas specials on NBC, released a documentary of the tour - On My Way Home- in 2015 and appeared in the film Pitch Perfect 2. In October 2017, the Pentatonix have released the deluxe version of their platinum-certified 2016 Christmas album, A Pentatonix Christmas Deluxe. The following year, in April 2018, the Pentatonix published the first collection in the series PTX Presents, Ptx Presents: Top Pop Vol. 1which includes 11 arrangements of contemporary pop songs, and concluded a 39-city North American tour in September.
Recently, the Pentatonix have announced the release of their new Christmas album, The Best Of Pentatonix Christmasout on 25 October. The Best Of will include four new tracks, as well as the biggest hits and collaborations from the previous four Christmas albums. In anticipation, the band have released their version of Can You Feel The Love Tonightfrom the Disney film The Lion Kingand is currently on the World Tour, which has just seen the conclusion of 44 North American dates. The next dates will be in Japan, Manila, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
