PIERO PELU' : FRIDAY 30 APRIL SEES THE RELEASE OF THE NEW ALBUM 'SOGGETTI SMARRITI' (LOST SUBJECTS)

Preceded by the first single 'Prendimi così', which has been on all radio stations for three weeks, Friday 30 April will see the release of 'Lost Subjects"(Wea Records / Warner Music Italia), Piero Pelù's new album, or rather, the album of his rock maturity.

And from Monday 3 May, the video for 'Prendimi così' will be in rotation on music TV.

After the first two albums, 'Neither Good Nor Bad' (2000) and 'U.D.S. L'uomo della strada' (2002), 'Soggetti Smarriti' is a snapshot of a period where inner unease and joy find their magical balance, as well as a beautiful synergy, his rock of today and the deep Lycian roots of the 80s and 90s. It is no coincidence that, among the album's ten songs, Piero has included a real 'gem' for his fans: the rearranged version of 'Re del Silenzio', from Litfiba's legendary album '17 Re'.

With a look more towards his inner world and interpersonal relationships, in the making of 'Soggetti Smarriti' Piero rediscovered the Pelù that everyone knows, the one who is gritty and sweet at the same time, who naturally combines rock power and melodies.

Produced by Piero Pelù and mixed by Tim Palmer (which counts in its palmares excellent names such as U2, Tears for Fears and Ozzie Osbourne), 'Soggetti Smarriti' is the work that every Piero Pelù fan has been longing to have in his hands. And with the tour (July to September), produced by Barley Arts, the album will acquire even more splendour, even more life.
From Friday 30 April, with the release of 'Soggetti Smarriti' in shops, Piero's new official website will also be launched ( www.pieropelu.com) completely renewed in its graphics. Those who log on to the site have the possibility of indicating three songs (from 'Desaparecido' to 'UDS' there are more than 110 titles on the list!) that they would like to hear live on Piero's next tour. And the possibility to participate in the forum where one can express opinions and engage in discussions on the disc and Piero's tour.
