American singer and guitarist, Ryan Adams is one of the leading exponents of alternative country; acclaimed for decades for his work, he has won several awards that, as the New York Timesmake of one of the most elegant songwriters of his generation.. Ryan Adams will be in Italy to present his latest recording project, the most recent of his fifteen studio albums, Prisoner, released on 17 February on his own label PAX-AM in collaboration with Blue Note. The disc is the first work of unreleased music since the eponymous Ryan AdamsIt is a very personal album, the only one that could have been made at this point in the singer-songwriter's artistic career and personal experiences. The album was announced by the sudden arrival of the first single Do You Still Love Me?, and its video, directed by Noah Abrams, which features the singer-songwriter in the studio and on tour. The single is a perfect opener with a scratchy, reflective sound and a fiery soul. Prisoner is a cathartic, convincing listen and each track unfolds as if in real time in front of the listener: the result is an album of great immediacy.

The career of Ryan Adams20 years of success: Heartbreaker, his debut solo album, has been included by Rolling Stone in the list of 50 best albums of the decade and, the eponymous Ryan Adams received in 2014 as many two Grammy nominations.
