THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS: 'IT WILL BE OUR MOST SPECTACULAR TOUR'

15 and 16 Juneare the most anticipated two days of the year for those who follow the world of electronic music in Italy. The duo, which has been a leader on the world scene for years, sets off on a new tour from the'HYDROSCALO of Milanpresenting the new album We are the nightout the following day, coinciding with the date at the FORO ITALICO in Rome (Stadio della Pallacorda).
The two Italian 'nights' therefore take on added meaning and importance, as the Manchester artists themselves have emphasised, happy to premiere their new production in Italy. The single that has already been flooding Italian radio stations for a month is called 'Do it again' and it's a statement of intent: the new sound of the 'chemical brothers' emphasises the rhythmic aspect, a groove that seems to be made on purpose to get the crowds dancing again during their enthralling performances. The show on the upcoming tour of the The Chemical Brothers is characterised by an over-the-top production. The band announces it to be the most spectacular tour in their history.

Meanwhile, we remind you that the Rome date has been moved from the Palalottomatica to the PALLACORDA STADIUM, an open-air facility, more appropriate for the summer season.

The Chemical Brothers' last performances in our country definitely left their mark: in March 2005 they were welcomed in Milan by an absolutely sold-out (12,000 attendees) and incredibly warm Forum; three months later, 15,000 Italian audiences flocked to the Arena Parco Nord in Bologna to witness their performance as part of FLIPPAUT 2005, in the company of MOBY, SOULWAX and TIROMANCINO.

The story of the 'Chemical Brothers' began in university lecture halls in Manchester in the early 1990s. The first big step took place in 1995 when Virgin released their debut album 'Exit Planet Dust', but it was with their third album 'Surrender' (1999), driven by the hit 'Hey Boy, Hey Girl' (still one of the most danced to tracks in Italian discos), that THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS reached the peak of their fame, becoming one of the icons of international electronic music.
