They return to Italy with their explosive blend of rock'n'roll, garage, soul and blues The Computers, for three autumn tour dates with the new album Birth/Death, to be released on 30 September (One Little Indian Records): Thursday 27 October at Honky Tonky in Seregno (MB) for the evening Brand New UK, Friday 28 October will be at Café Liber in Turin and not in Rome as previously announced, and Saturday 29 October at Vidia in Cesena. Third full length by the Exeter (UK) band, Birth/Death by The Computers continues the discourse begun with the 2015 EP Want The News? Here's The Blues, which contains the eponymous track. Preceded by the single This Ain't Right, Birth/Death was recorded atop a cliff on the coast of Devon, Cornwall, and produced by David McEwan, already working with Plan B and Nitin Sawhney.
The first studio album by The Computers This Is The Computers dates back to 2011, followed in 2013 by Love Triangles, Hate Squares, thanks to which the band won over world critics and British radio stations such as BBC 1, BBC 6 and XFM. The Computers However, they have gained much of their audience thanks to their energetic and overwhelming live performances, which have taken them on tour across Europe and which in 2013 made them personally chosen by Die Toten Hosen for their German tour, which ended at Dusseldorf's Esprit Stadium in front of fifty thousand people. In August The Computers will also share the stage with British ska legends Madness for two dates in Edinburgh.
The Computers are: Al Kershaw (voice), Aidan Sinclair (battery), Fred Ansell (keyboards), James Mattock (guitar) and Tom McMahon (low).
