On Thursday 23 May, the Cyborgs bring their unbridled boogie to Milan's Magnolia.
The new release of the duo from the future, Electric Chairwas released on 1 May by the Turin-based label INRI and was preceded by the single Last War.
The power duo's new manifesto brings together 12 original tracks and one cover permeated with the rock blues sound of the 1970s, but not only. In their careful journey of rediscovering the lost traces of black music, there is no lack of incursions of Afro and oriental sounds, hints of psychedelic rock and winks at the jazz experiments of the turn of the century, but always with an eye fixed on the revolutionary experience of cult groups such as ZZ Top, The Knack and Canned Heat, a musical legacy assimilated and re-proposed in their unmistakable riot signature.
End and beginning, positive and negative, life and death, this two-man band shows that he has not lost his natural predisposition for contradictions: in order to survive in our present, he manages to transform what is usually used as a lethal device into an indispensable tool of knowledge.
Unstoppable, the Cyborgs start touring again to present 'Electric Chair' and are ready to take the stage at Milan's Magnolia.
Opening the concert were the Granpa, a blues trio led by Gianluca Bartolo (Pan Del Diavolo).
