Belgian-American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Trixie Whitley presents in Italy Porta Bohemicahis second full length released in 2015: an introspective journey into the depths of his varied creative identity, told through the metaphor of the historic international railway line of the same name.

Trixie Whitley nurtured his artistic spirit from an early age thanks to the encouragement of his father, the singer-songwriter Chris Whitleywho first brought his daughter on stage with him at the age of 3. At the age of 10 Trixie Whitley she started playing drums, while at the age of 11 she became the youngest resident DJ in Belgium; during her teenage years came her first European tours, together with various avant-garde theatre companies and dance collectives. Born in Gent in 1987 and raised between Belgium and New York, before starting her solo career Trixie Whitley also played in the Black Dub, the producer's band Daniel Lanois (Bob Dylan, Neil Young Emmylou Harris), alongside modern jazz drummer Brian Blade and the legendary New Orleans bassist Daryl Johnson.
