Here comes resounding news for fans of great music, the real, classy kind that goes straight to the heart.
Trombone Shorty will be the special guest on Lenny Kravitz's three dates in Italy.
The black musician and his band, Orleans Avenue, will be in our country for the first time next summer.

– Eleven weeks at number one on the Billboard charts in the 'Contemporary Jazz' section, with 'For True'.
- He played at Carnegie Hall on 7 January as a special guest for the 50th birthday of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, with My Morning Jacket, Mos Def and Allen Toussaint.
- On 8 January, he was invited to play the American anthem during half-time of the Giants-Atlanta game.
- He has collaborated with Mark Ronson, Erykah Badu and, of course, Lenny Kravitz.

After the success of the spectacular show offered by Lenny Kravitz to audiences in Treviso and Milan, the 'Black And White Tour' returns to Italy in the summer of 2012 for three new concerts, on 16 July at the Stadio Miro Luperi in Sarzana, on 17 at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle in Rome, as part of 'Rock In Roma', and on 19 at the Castello Sforzesco in Vigevano for the third edition of '10 Giorni Suonati'.
Let's get ready for two hours of great hits like "Always On The Run", "American Woman", "Mr. Cab Driver", "Where Are We Runnin", "Fly Away", "Are You Gonna Go My Way", "I Belong to You" and some of the most iconic songs from "Black And White America", the latest album released on the Roadrunner/Atlantic label, such as "Stand", "Push" and "Rock Star City Life".
On the 'Black And White Italy Tour', organised by Barley Arts, Lenny Kravitz will once again be accompanied on stage by Gail Ann Dorsey on bass, George Laks on keyboards, Craig Ross on guitar, Frank Vanderbilt on drums, Harold Todd on saxophone, Gabrial McNair on trombone, and Louis Ludovic on trumpet.
