Tuesday 29 January 2013 will mark True's birthday: five years of musical adventures in the most bizarre country in the world. The "True Night" will start at 6 pm at the OCA in via Tortona, 54 in Milan.
The evening programme includes a press conference from 18:00 to 19:00 on the occasion of the release of Giuradei's new self-titled album.
We will listen to some tracks from the beautiful work, to be released on 11 February by Picicca Dischi, which features, among others, the participation of Jairo Depedro Zavala of the Calexico on guitar.
The Nuju showcase will follow, from 7 to 7.30 p.m.The Calabrian band will present its frenetic musical attitude, defined as 'Urban Folk', in Milan, playing, among other things, some tracks from its latest album, '3° (mondo)'. A concert not to be missed, for the ability of this sextet to involve the audience.
Le Pistole alla Tempia will perform next (7.40pm - 8.10pm), who, with their second album 'La guerra degli elefanti' (The Elephants' War), which has just been released, are collecting a lot of media acclaim. Theirs is aggressive, powerful rock, but also poetic and lyrical.
Letlo Vin will then take the stage (20.20 - 20.50),to offer a folk'n roll show with the spirit of folk and gospel and tell of love, hate, life and death. The trio is currently preparing their debut album 'Songs for Takeda'.
And like an evening across the Channel, where midweek concerts start at a decent hour, the party will end with a ROCK DJset as God commands.
We look forward to seeing you then on Tuesday 29 January 2013 from 6 p.m. at the Ex Ansaldo Area, via Tortona 54 in Milan for the "True Night'!!!
