VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR : NEW ALBUM AND TOUR

In the international press, the first comments on the news of a VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR reunion were in the order of 'dream come true', '25 years of waiting come to fruition', etc.

In fact, one of the cult bands of the 1960s and 1970s, often placed in the progressive-rock scene for the sake of convenience of definition, but actually brilliant precisely because it was musically unique and unclassifiable, had officially disbanded in 1978, when some of its original members had already stopped dedicating themselves to music full-time.

But now the 4 historical members PETER HAMMILL, DAVID JACKSON, HUGH BANTON and GUY EVANS, come together under the name VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR. And not only that. In fact 25 April will see the release of a double CD of previously unreleased material composed by the band in 2004, entitled PRESENTtickets are already sold out for the first live performance, scheduled for 6 May at the ROYAL FESTIVAL HALL in London, 30 years after the previous one with this line-up.
