The mesmerising blend of tango, electronics and Latin sounds created by the Argentinean Federico Aubele will break into northern Italy 16 and 17 December. Two clubs will welcome him: La Casa 139 in Milan and La Suoneria in Settimo Torinese (TO)two locations ideal for recreating the intimate atmosphere of the singer-songwriter's records in an acoustic version, supported by the bewitching voice of Natalia Clavier.
Federico Aubele is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Buenos Aires brought to prominence by the Thievery CorporationAmerican electronic duo that produced his debut album 'Buonos Aires Grand Hotel' at 2004. The next recording effort 'Pan-American'published three years later under the label ELSIt confirmed Aubele's talents and originality and increased his reputation among the public, his colleagues and the press. The singer/songwriter/guitarist has thus made a name for himself with an electro-tango with multi-ethnic overtones, also due to the fact that the label for which he records is based in Washington and Federico frequently travels between Barcelona and Berlin. This multi-territoriality has contaminated his music, with typically Latin and Spanish sounds, electronic influences typical of Berlin DJ sets, but also with dub, reggae and singer-songwriter influences. The third disc 'Amatoria' is the most personal and intimate, in which the different musical and cultural blends have come to an almost perfect amalgamation, so much so that it can include respectable collaborations, such as the one with fellow countrywoman Natalia Clavierthe one with Sabina Sciubbadei Brazilian Girls and with Miho Hatori of Cibo Matto. Aubele's guitar and voice blend masterfully supported by electronic beats and ambient and lounge sounds, in an album entirely dedicated to love, as the title already suggests, which refers precisely to 'Ars Amatoria'.
Two Italian dates, where he will perform in acoustic duo with Natalia Clavier, an Argentinian singer-songwriter who already has several collaborations with Aubele.
