The affection that Italian fans have shown over the last two years towards the DEEP PURPLE has probably reached an all-time high: 14 dates in the past 20 months, almost always sold out.
Now Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Steve Morse and Don Airey announce six new dates in our country's arenas, all in Decemberincluding a return to Rome.
The English hard rock band will be the 10 in Bolzano, 11 in Jesolo, 12 in Rome, 14 in Perugia, 15 in Milan and 16 in Bologna.
The band is currently on tour in Japan, after a short break due to the new solo album by Ian Gillan. The five will be back in Europe, in Eastern countries and Scandinavia, in the coming months. Italy will be in charge of the winter phase of the tour, and no new record releases are ruled out before then.
The latest studio album by the Deep Purple is in fact Rapture of the Deepdated 2005.
