08/10/2008: JUDAS PRIEST, MEGADETH AND TESTAMENT: WELCOME TO THE PRIEST FEAST

Authentic founders of heavy metal and the leather and studded imagery that has accompanied this genre of music for thirty years, the JUDAS PRIEST announce their new European tour, which will visit Milan on 10 March 2009 at Palasharpwith a formula that will remind many of the 'Clash of the Titans' that raged at the turn of the 80s and 90s. Rob Halford's band (vocals) will have the honour of hosting two of the most seminal thrash bands of all time at the 'Priest Feast': MEGADETH e TESTAMENT.
Back in the saddle with the 1990 line-up, the same one that recorded the masterpiece 'Painkiller', the JUDAS PRIEST have released the concept album 'Nostradamus' this year. , the second work since the return to the band of Rob Halford. Together with him we find the most famous and proven metal guitarist duo ever, Tipton and Downing, the battery of Scott Travis and the bass of Ian Hill. The British band signed absolute masterpieces of the genre during the 1980s such as 'British Steel', 'Screaming for Vengeance' and 'Defenders of the Faith', as well as writing true metal anthems such as 'Breaking the Law' and 'Living After Midnight'.
Flagship of the Priest Feast are the MEGADETH: the band of the charismatic Dave MustaineThe band, which has sold more than 20 million records, together with Metallica, dictated the rules of extreme music in the 1980s and 1990s. After releasing milestones such as "Rust in Peace" and "So far... so good... so what?", they reached the top of the worldwide charts with the albums "Countdown to Extinction" and "Youthanasia". After several line-up revolutions, MEGADETH have returned to their former glory with their latest works 'The World Needs a Hero' and 'United Abominations'.
I TESTAMENT are a true legend of the Bay Area, the area of California that churned out an impressive string of metal bands in the mid-1980s. With the return of virtuoso guitarist Alex Skolnick the original line-up reformed, still led by the mammoth Chuk Billy. Their latest album 'Formation of Damnation' won the award of the industry's leading magazine, Metal Hammer, as best album of the year.
The chance to see these three metal titans in the same evening makes the 'Priest Feast' one of the events not to be missed in 2009.
