09/12/09: IMOGEN HEAP FROM 5 TO 8 MARCH IN ITALY

A few months after the release of the new album 'Ellipse'already topping the American charts, Imogen Heap announces the European tour, which will touch down in Italy with three dates. The singer-songwriter will perform 5 March at Circolo degli Artisti in Rome, 6 March at Bronson in Madonna dell'Albero (RA) and 8 March at Circolo Magnolia in Milan.

 

She was recently appointed to two Grammy Awardsfurther recognition for the 32-year-old's burgeoning career Imogen Heap, a leading artist in the American and British music scene. This was also confirmed by his performance at the end of August on the David Letterman Show with the new single 'First Train Home'to promote the disc 'Ellipse'. The previous album, Speak For Yourselfdates back four years and, dragged by the hit "Hide and Seek, has become a true cult record. The debut album 'I-Megaphone' is from 1998, which was followed by several re-releases over the years. Meanwhile, Imogen Heap has also pursued parallel projects, including the Frou Frouwhich was attended by producer and songwriter Guy Sigsworth. The duo also depopulated in Italy with 'It's Good To Be In Love'broadcast for months on all radio and music television stations. Both Imogen's solo works and other projects have always been characterised by an experimental sound, with electronic and pop influences, complemented by her magnetic and evocative voice.

 

The North American and UK tour has already sold out several times and will be followed by dates in the rest of Europe, including the three Italian stops.
