A year on from the tour that toured northern Italy with two dates, 'The Australian Pink Floyd Show' returns with three dates. The new spectacular show will be on stage 10, 11 and 12 February at the Palabam in Mantua, the Vaillant Palace in Genoa and the Pala Atlantico in Rome.
On this tour, half of each of Pink Floyd's four most famous albums will be performed, namely 'Wish You Were Here', 'Dark Side Of The Moon', 'Animals' and 'The Wall'.
In 2008 'The Australian Pink Floyd Show' celebrated 'The Wall', a milestone in music history, by filling the arenas of Brescia and Fossano (CN). The first show was staged sixteen years ago and has since become world famous, so much so that it received the 'blessing' of David Gilmourwho attended the show in Australia in 1994. 'The Australian Pink Floyd Show' is not a simple tribute, but a faithful recreation of the 'psychedelic lightshows' that the band performed on tours from 1987 to 1994, which were extraordinary both musically and scenically. The play of lasers and light beams, screen animations and psychedelic sounds have always characterised the set, creating hallucinatory and unique atmospheres. The well-established project has achieved worldwide success, so much so that it has been called one of the best shows in existence, and has included performances at London's Royal Albert Hall and the Glastonbury Festival.
