11/5/10: SCISSOR SISTERS: THEIR PARTY AT THE CASTLE ON 21 JULY

It is expected on 29 June 'Night Work', the new album by Scissor Sistersthe third in their career.
The New York four anticipated part of their new album last March by playing at SXSW in Austin, Texas. The band announced their return live, also in Italy, with a date on 21 July as part of the '10 Giorni Suonati al Castello di Vigevano' festival.

Having become one of the biggest bands of the last decade in the UK, where their last album 'Ta-Dah' dominated the charts for a long time in 2006 (more than 1.4 million copies in the UK alone, gold disc in Italy) , Scissor Sisters recorded their new work in London, the Bahamas and their hometown New York.

Night Work is a record danceeven if it is reductive to consider it only and only an electronic album. One can still sense the live matrix of this band that has never stopped playing, in the studio and in concert.  "Night Work represents us as we really are. It is our quintessence," explains Jake Shears. The album will be preceded by the single Fire With Fire, on the radio from 7 May.

From 13 April on their website, scissorsisters.com, the new track is available for streaming Invisible Light

Stuart Price (The Killers, Madonna) is producer of the album, together with the band.

During the tour of the previous album, Ta-Dah, Scissor Sisters played to an audience of another 100,000 people in London alone, including shows at Trafalgar Square and the O2 Arena.
