In all likelihood, they are the two most up-and-coming acts from the northern lands, lately very prolific of successful hard rock bands. For the SONIC SYNDICATEon the heels of the release of their second album for Nuclear Blast entitled 'Love and other disasters' (September 2008), also came the blessing of Nightwish, the leading band of the Scandinavian metal scene, who judged them 'fantastic'.
The third album by the DEATHSTARS is due out on 30 January and will be called 'Electric Night': 24 February in Milan will be the first opportunity to hear the new tracks live.
We will find both bands on this date at al MusicDromefor their only concert in Italy, where they will be co-headliners, which means that the two bands will perform for the same amount of time.
After the success of the album 'Only Inhuman', i SONIC SYNDICATE They reaffirmed their magical moment, entering with their latest studio work in 22nd place in the Swedish charts and in the German top 50.
Authors of melodic death metal, they were founded in 2002 under the name Fallen Angels by the 3 Sjunnesson brothers: Richard, Roger and Robin. In 2005 they changed their name to Sonic Syndicate and joined the line-up Roland Johansson, Karin Axelsson and John Bengtsson. They are a band that has been heavily influenced by big bands such as In Flames and Soilwork.
The group of DEATHSTARS was founded in January 2000 by Emil Nödtveidt, Andreas Bergh, Erik Halvorsen and Ole Öhmanformer members of death metal bands Dissection and Swordmaster and the black metal band Ophthalamia. In June 2007, the have won the Best Newcomer at the Hammer Golden Gods Awardsevent organised by Metal Hammer magazine. In recent times, Deathstars supported Cradle of Filth on a European tour in 2006.
