Big date for six-string lovers: one of the most beloved and respected rock guitarists ever comes to Italy, Marty Friedman.
Dtwo dates, the first at Jailbreak in Rome on 14 May and the second the day after at Bloom in Mezzago.
His solo career, which began in 2003, continues amidst experimentation and moments of great inspiration, which find space in his latest 'Tokio Jukebox', a tribute to the city where he currently lives.
Marty made headlines back in 1986 when with Jason Baker he started the Cacophonygreat example of techno-metal.
His fame then grew when in 1989 he joined the Megadeth of Dave Mustaine. His contribution to the band was enormous: with him Megadeth signed the best episodes of their career, from the masterpiece 'Rust in Peace' to the best-sellers 'Countdown to Exctinction' and 'Youthanasia'.
